Cucumber Cooler

Summer is in full swing here. Just a couple of weeks back, I was complaining about continuous rains and chilling weather. Now, the weather in Milan has completely changed. To sustain the heat, I definitely needed plenty of liquid intake. Today I made another refreshing summer drink and recharged myself.

Cucumber Cooler
To fight extreme weather conditions, we all need to be sufficiently hydrated. So, you may try this refreshing drink at the comfort of your own kitchen.

Cucumber Cooler
Ingredients
1 cucumber peeled and cut into cubes
8-10 mint leaves
1/2 lemon juice
2 tsp honey (any favorite sweetener)
a pinch of black salt
1 1/2 cups of water
crushed ice

Method
  • Add cucumber, mint leaves, water to a blender and blend for few seconds.
  • Pour through a fine strainer. Using a spoon, press the solids to get all the liquid out and discard the solids.
  • Add lemon juice, honey, black salt and mix it well.
  • Serve over crushed ice.
